Hi, my name is Olivier Strikwerda and I am a student taking the minor 'International aid & Development' thought at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences.

We live in a world which is always evolving and developing itself. But what is development, when have we become fully 'developed', how do we as humans contribute to development, is every aspect of development within our power, how can we contribute and give aid to 'developing' countries and how do we give aid whilst giving local cultures a chance to flourish? These are all questions we are asking ourselves in the course of the minor 'International aid & Development'. On my blog site i will share my views on topics we discuss on this journey of exploration.
